The Super Ram uses a simple law of physics
Water is incompressible. It transmits shockwaves at the speed of sound (1,750Km.p.h)with negligible loss of force. The column of water acts like an infinitely flexible iron rod. A blow on either end of the column will shoot the blockage out of the opposite end. This happens irrespective of open branches
Important: The ram is an impact tool not a pressure tool. For a fraction of a second a powerful impact strikes the obstruction. It is this instantaneous impact which 'shoots' the pipe clear. There is no risk to 'weak points', fittings,etc., and can be used on pipes made from any material clay, plastic, lead and even glass

The Power Booster
The power booster gives really high pressures which are necessary for those large(150mm and larger) or long pipes (45m). No other version uses this technique. It is easier to pressurize the 'super ram' to 350psi with literally no effort than it is to pump a competing version to 35psi.
What is a Power Booster?
A standard Sparklets bulb containing COČ gas. This is released into the chamber of the 'Super Ram' by a non-return valve at the base of the ram.
